The very gem of the Spanish navy – the largest ship in the 18th century. The rich variety of materials used for its building, its exceptional array, the huge dimensions and it extraordinary structure made this vessel a veritablie historical monument. Santísima Trinidad was the only four-decker man-of-war in history, with a crew of more than a thousand sailors and soldiers,
and 140 cannons. It was sunk, however, during the Battle of Trafalgar.
